Epic's compression techniques are pretty interesting, however DVD9 is pretty limiting, but with NXE you could just install two discs and have one disc as the key, it works if the person has a 60+ GB HDD, but since this is 720 who knows if they'll even use discs as a medium, POP in a XXGB flash drive and your set for all we know.
The only validity found in the article is stock shares and cut backs, there's a recession happening if you aren't aware, this is happening to every company. Look at Microsoft's stock low's they are lower than Sony's does it mean anything? NO it's just following trend.

Sony makes more revenue and Microsoft makes more profit. Microsoft is a primarily a software company that marks up it's goods more than 100% as Sony is primarily a hardware company that can mark up goods 25-35%, whom also has to pay the chain gang.

Yeah I knew NXE was going to be more oriented towards being friendly, I'm not saying it copied XMB but Microsoft realized it had to be more friendly. Anyway, Home will be competition for Xbox Live obviously whether they acknowledge or not. It's a free service, you can't really complain about free.

It sucks that the screenshots drop the post processing effects, the game is absolutely drop dead gorgeous in motion, Gears of War 2 had the same problem, the Screenshots looked like crap but looked fantastic in-motion.
